Today I'm kicking it like an old-school Britney song and feeling like a boss.
I PB'd in snatch, clean & jerk, back squat and front squat during my Olympic Lifting session this week! <insert raunchy jokes about the off-colour nature of weightlifting terms here>
Basically, I'm feeling strong today, and I have to be honest, it feels pretty damn good.
I think sometimes, as women, we don't celebrate our strength enough. And I don't just mean lifting heavy things. So today, I urge you to pat yourself on the back for whatever you've done lately that proves you're strong and awesome. Take a moment to celebrate your mental or physical prowess. Strength shows itself in a lot of different ways--enduring, overcoming, persevering and being a little bit better than you were yesterday.
